John DeGennaro transcended his humble beginnings to become an acclaimed Executive Chef. Known for his expertise in Italian-American cuisine, he enjoys an award-winning career, highlighted by accolades such as the “Best New Chef” and “Most Creative Chef.”

Growing up in a small farm town in Connecticut, his mother sparked his passion for cooking at an early age. Over the years, his fond morning routine of cooking crêpes for the family gradually blossomed into a love for various foods. Concurrently, at just 17, he also started a successful business, which grew rapidly, so it was challenging to keep up with the demands.
